issued a notification for recruitment to 34 posts of Technical
Assistant in Government Engineering and
Technology Colleges under Higher Education Department, Government of
West Bengal. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,
Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering & Computer Science
Engineering disciplines.

Scale of Pay : Pay Band-3 Rs. 7,100 - 37,600/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4,100/-
Age Limit :Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 1st January 2016.
Education Qualification : Candidate must hold a Diploma in
Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Civil /
Computer Science & Technology branch from West Bengal State Council
of Technical Education or its equivalent.Candidate must be able to read
and write in Bengali and English
Examination Fee : All categories except Scheduled Caste /
Scheduled Tribe shall pay Rs. 200 as Examination Fee with Processing Fee
of Rs. 20 while Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates will pay
only Rs. 20 as processing fee.Fee should be pay online through payment
gateway using Debit Cards / Credits Cards / Net banking of any bank

How to Apply : Candidates can apply online through
Commission’s website www.wbssc.gov.in from 21 January 2016 to 15
February 2016 up to 4.00 PM by filling up all required
details.Candidates have to upload scanned passport size photograph and
full
signature.After successful payment of Examination fees and / or
Processing fees through online payment gateway, an auto generated
receipt with REGISTRATION NUMBER will be generated.Candidates must note
down Registration Number for future reference
Candidates can also submit application through about 1800 Tathya Mitra
Kendras set up by the Govt. of West Bengal up to the level of Gram
