Indian Army has released a notification at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in about JAG Entry Scheme 17th Course OCT 2016 for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) for Law Graduates in the Indian Army for Judge Advocate General Department.Applications are invited from married / unmarried Male and unmarried Female candidates from 18 January 2016 to 16 February 2016 at 17:00 Hours.

Name of Course : JAG Entry Scheme 17th Course OCT 2016

Number of Posts : 14 Posts (Men – 10, Women – 04)

Age Limit : Between 21 to 27 years (Candidate must have been Born not earlier than 02 July 1989 and not later than 01 July 1995)

Stipend : Candidates will be given a stipend of Rs. 21,000/- pm. After completion of training they will be commissioned in the rank of Lt and entitled to pay as admissible to the rank

Education Qualification :  Candidate must have completed LLB Degree (three years professional after graduation or five years after 10+2 examination) with minimum 55% aggregate marks from a College/University recognized by Bar Council of India.The candidates should be eligible for registration with Bar Council of India/State
Training Period : Candidates will be given training for 49 weeks (approximately 11 months) at OTA, Chennai. After successful completion of training, candidates will be granted commission in the rank of Lt. No ante date seniority will be granted

Selection Process : First candidates will be short-listed by Recruiting Directorate, Integrated HQ of MoD (Army),details of which will be put on Join Indian Army website. Short-listed candidates will be called for Medical examination & SSB interview

Indian Army Recruitment 2016 - NCC Entry Scheme (54 Vacancies)

Indian Army has issued a notification for NCC Special Entry Scheme 40th Course October 2016 for grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army for Men and Women (Including Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel).

NCC Men - 50 Posts
NCC Women - 04 Posts

Age Limit : 19 to 25 years as on 1st July 2016 (born not earlier than 02 Jul 91 and not later than 01 Jul 97).

Eligibility Criteria : Candidate must hold Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with minimum 50% marks.Candidate should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division/ Wing of NCC and obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.(NCC ‘C’ certificate not required for Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel Only).

Selection Process : Selection method will consist of Screening/Shortlisting, SSB Interview,  Group Tests, Psychological Tests, Interview and Medical Examination

Training : Duration of Training is 49 weeks at OTA, Chennai, on successful completion of which Candidates will be granted commission in the rank of Lt.

How to Apply : Eligible candidates can submit application on plain paper as per prescribed  format available at official website of Rtg Dte www.joinindianarmy.nic.in to the nearest OC, NCC Unit from where NCC ‘C’ certificate has been issued with Date of birth from class X Certificate, 12th class certificate and Mark sheet, Degree, NCC ‘C’ Certificate.
