National Rice Research Institute (NRRI), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Cuttack (Odisha) has issued an employment notification for recruitment to 69 posts of Technician (T-1) and Technical Assistant (T-3) under the administrative control of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.Last date for submission of application is 14 February 2016.

Scale of Pay

• Technician (T-1) : PB-1 Rs.5200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2000/
• Technical Assistant (T-3) : PB-1 Rs.5200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2800/-

 

Age Limit : 18 to 30 years as on 28th January 2016.

Education Qualification: 

 

(i) Technician - Candidate must have passed Matriculation or equivalent qualification.

 

(ii) Technical Assistant (Farm Assistant) - Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or any other branch of Science/Social Science relevant to Agriculture

 

(iii) Technical Assistant (Computer) - Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or any other branch of Science/Social Science relevant to Agriculture

 

(iii) Technical Assistant (Civil Engineer) - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification

 

(iv) Technical Assistant Engineer (Instruments) - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering OR Three years Diploma in Mechanical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualification

 

(v) Technical Assistant (Mechanical Engineer) - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineer / Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.

 

(v) Technical Assistant (Electrical Engineer) - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Three years Diploma in Electrical or equivalent qualification from a recognized University

Selection Process : Selection will be made through performance in Written Test (Objective Type- Multiple Choice Questions) in English & Hindi 

 

Application Fee : Application fee charges of Rs.200 (non-refundable) must be pay by candidates through a Crossed Demand Draft drawn on any scheduled bank drawn in favour of "ICAR Unit: CRRI" payable at Cuttack.SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen/Women candidates are not required to pay application fee.
