Vacancies Detail	Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) notified for the Indian Forest Service Examination 2014 on 30 May 2014. The UPSC will hold a Screening Test for selection to Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2014 through Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2014 which is scheduled to be held on 24 August 2014, in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Environment and Forests in the Gazette of India dated the 31 May 2014. Eligible candidates may apply through Online Applications on or before 30 June 2014.

Educational Qualification	Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology, Physics, Botany, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Agriculture or in Engineering of any of Universities.
Application Fee Details	Rs. 100 (Female/SC/ST/PH are exempted from payment of fee). By Cash in any SBI branch or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Hyderabad/Sate Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Travancore/ State Bank of Mysore /State Bank of Patiala or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.
Selection Procedure	The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of performance in Preliminary Examination and Main Examination.
