Command has released a notification for recruitment to 236 posts of Mate
Electrician, Mate Fitter General Mechanic, Mate Carpenter, Mate
Refrigerator Mechanic & Air Conditioning, Mate Painter, Mate Mason,
Mate Pipe Fitter and Vehicle Mechanic.Eligible Candidate may apply in prescribed form till 13th February 2016.

Scale of Pay : Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade pay Rs 1800
Age Limit : Age limit should be between 18 to 27 years as on 10th November 2015.Relaxation in age limit will be applicable for ex-servicemen, handicapped persons, persons domiciled in J&K, SC/ST/OBC etc as per Central Govt Rules
Education Qualification :
(i) Mate (Vehicle Mechanic) : Candidate must have passes Matriculation from a recognized board and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in Vehicle Mechanic, Mechanic Diesel, Mechanic Repair & maintenance of Light vehicles, Driver-cum-Mechanic Light Vehicles, Broad Based Basic Training (Auto Mobiles).
(ii) Mate (Fitter General Mechanic) : Candidate must have passes Matriculation from a recognized board and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate from in Fitter General Mechanic, Fitter, Fitter General.
(iii) Mate (Mason) : Candidate must have passes Matriculation from a recognized board and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in Mason (BC).
(iv) Mate (Electrician): Candidate must have passes Matriculation from a recognized board and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in Electrician, Broad Based Basic Training Electric, Mechanical Auto Electrical and Electronics
(v) Mate (Refrigerator Mechanic & Air Conditioning) : Candidate must have passes Matriculation from a recognized board and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
(vi) Mate (Carpenter) : Candidate must have passes Matriculation from a recognized board and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in Carpenter.
(vii) Mate (Painter) : Candidate must have passes Matriculation from a recognized board and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in Painter General.
(viii) Mate (Pipe Fitter) : Candidate must have passes Matriculation from a recognized board and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in Pipe Fitter, Plumber, Sanitary Hardware fitter
Selection Process : Selection process will consist of written examination & documentation check.Written examination will be conducted on 8th May 2016.Full details will be available on MES Website at www. mes.gov.in.
