State Selection Board (SSB), Department of Higher Education, Government
of Odisha, Bhubaneswar has issued a notification for recruitment to the
post of Lecturers (DP Posts) in Non-Government Aided Colleges of Odisha
in different subjects to fill 1625 (One thousand six hundred twenty
five) vacancies.Online registration will open from 15th January 2016 to 15th February 2016 till 23.59 pm.
Selection of the candidates will be made through Written Examination, Educational Career and Viva-Voce Test.Written Test will be conducted at Balasore,
Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur.Candidates will be on
probation period for Two years from date of joining.

Scale of Pay : (PB-II) Rs.9,300/- to Rs.34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4,600/-
Age Limit : Minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum 42 years as on 1st October, 2015.Upper age limit is relaxable for Scheduled Caste (S.C.), Scheduled Tribe (S.T.), Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (S.E.B.C.), Women, ExServicemen categories by 5 (five) years and 10 years for PwD candidates
Education Qualification : Candidate must hold a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade with a Second Class in the Bachelor’s Degree.Candidate must be able to speak, read and write Odia fluently
Selection Process : Selection Process will consist of Written Test, Educational Career and Viva-Voce Test.Written Test will be Objective Type (Multiple Choice) in the concerned subject carrying of 100 marks.On the basis of merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in Career and Written Test, candidates will be called for interview by the State Selection Board.Written Examination will scheduled to be held at Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur
Probation Period : Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years from the date of joining.

Application Fee : Application fee charges are Rs.500 (Rupees Five hundred) for Unreserved category and Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundred) for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled tribes and PwDs applicants.Fee must be pay online during submission of on-line application.
How to Apply : Applicants must submit application through official website www.ssbodisha.nic.in through link 'Apply Online' by filling Online Application Form from 15th January 2016 to 15th February 2016 till 23.59 pm.Candidates have to upload their latest passport size photograph with scanned image of his/her full signature and left hand thumb impression.Candidate must note a user ID and a password after submission of application and take printout of the application.Candidate must bring Print out/Hard copy of Online Applications, true copies of academic qualifications duly attested by the candidate himself or by any Gazetted Officer or Notary Public for viva-voce test.
