Department of Sericulture, Government of Tamilnadu has released notification for recruitment to 300 posts of Junior Inspector of Sericulture & Assistant Inspector of Sericulture.Last Date for submission of online application is 27th January 2016.

Online Registration for application will open from 13.01.2016 to 27.01.2016.Candidates will be selected through Written Examination.Candidates also have to submit printout copy of online application till 28.01.2016.

Scale of Pay 

Junior Inspector of Sericulture - Rs. 9300-34800/- with GP Rs. 4200/-

Assistant Inspector of Sericulture - Rs. 5200-20200/- with GP Rs. 2400/-

Age Limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 1st July 2015

Education Qualification: 

Junior Inspector of Sericulture : Candidates must hold Degree in Bachelor of Science with Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology and six months experience in Sericulture or Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture (PGDS) from TNAU Coimbatore.

Assistant Inspector of Sericulture : Candidate must have passed Matriculation/ SSLC with six months experience in Sericulture or Six months Training Course for Non Graduate Holders from TN Government Sericulture Training Institute.

Selection Process : Selection will be made through performance in Written Examination

Application Fee : Application Fee charges are Rs.500 which should be pay through Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Director of Sericulture" payable at Salem
