Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Kolkata has
released an employment notification for the recruitment of 30 posts of
Superintendent Engineer, Deputy Librarian, Executive Engineer/ Project
Engineer cum Estate Officer, Assistant Registrar, Lady Medical Officer,
Office Superintendent, Junior Superintendent Accountant, Junior
Engineer, Scientific/ Tech Assistant, Laboratory Assistant and Junior
Assistant on regular basis.
Interested & Eligible candidates can apply online through official
website or before 30th November 2015.Candidates also have to submit hard
copy of application form on or before 7th December 2015.
Education Qualification :
(i) Superintendent Engineer: Candidate must possess Engineering
degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University / Institute
and 15 years of experience in relevant field as Engineer
(ii) Deputy Librarian : Candidate must possess Post Graduate
degree in Library Science/ Information Science / Documentation with CGPA
of 6.5 in 10 point scale or at least first class marks or its
equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently
good academic record and 10 years experience as an Assistant University
Librarian commitment, computerization of library.
(iii) Executive Engineer / Project Engineer cum Estate Officer: Candidate
must possess First class Engineering degree Electrical / Civil /
Communication from a recognized University / Institute and 5 years’
experience in relevant field as Engineer / Asst. Engineer
(iv) Assistant Registrar: Candidate must hold Masters’ degree in
any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade ‘B’ from
a recognized University / Institute with excellent academic record with
at least 3 years of experience in GP-4600 in Academic Institutes,
Research Establishment and Universities.
(v) Lady Medical Officer: MBBS Degree or equivalent
qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical
Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State
Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
(vi) Office Superintendent: Bachelor’s Degree( Honours or
equivalent)from a recognized University OR PG from a recognized
University or Institute with excellent academic record with Knowledge in
Computer applications
(vii) Junior Superintendent : Bachelor’s Degree(Honours or
equivalent ) from a recognized University or PG from a recognized
University with excellent academic record. and Knowledge in Computer
applications.
(viii) Accountant: First class Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with
Honours in Accountancy / Finance or equivalent from a recognized
University or Institute. (OR) Master’s Degree in Commerce / MBA
(Finance) from a recognized University or Institute with excellent
academic record. Knowledge of Computer applications
(ix) Junior Engineer (Civil / Electrical) : Diploma in
Engineering in relevant field with excellent academic record OR Bachelor
of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology in relevant field from a
recognized University or Institute.
(x) Scientific /Tech Assistant: First class Bachelor’s (Honors)
Degree in Sciences in relevant subject or equivalent grade from a
recognized University/Institute (OR) First class Diploma in Engineering
in relevant field with excellent academic record (OR) Post-graduate
degree in science or B.E. / B.Tech in relevant field from a recognized
University or Institute.
(xi) Laboratory Assistant: Bachelor of Science Degree in relevant field from a recognized University or Institute.
(xii) Junior Assistant: Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet.
