Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has released an employment notification for the recruitment to 62 posts of Forest Range Officer (FRO) .Eligible candidates with requisite qualifications may apply online from 17th November 2015 to 5th December 2015 till 11:59 pm.

Name of Post : Forest Range Officer (FRO)

Number of Posts : 62 Posts (GEN-38,SC-12,ST-03,OBC-09)

Scale of Pay : Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4800

Age Limit : Candidate's age should be minimum 21 years and maximum 42 years as on 1st July 2015.Upper age limit will be relaxable for SC/ST/PWD categories as per Govt rules.

Education Qualification : Candidate must possess Degree in Agriculture/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Computer Application/ Computer Science/ Engineering (Agriculture/ Chemistry/ Civil/ Computer/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical)/ Environmental Science/ Forestry/ Geology/ Horticulture/ Maths/ Physics/ Statistics/ Veterinary Science/ Zoology.

Selection Process : Selection process will consist of Preliminary Examination & Main Examination.

Examination Fee : Examination fee charges are Rs.150 for Unreserved (General)/ OBC candidates & Freedom Fighters and dependents,Rs.60 for SC/ ST/ PH & Ex-Serviceman candidates.Candidate must pay fee through Bank Challan at any branch of State Bank Of India (SBI).No fee charges for Female candidates.

How to Apply : Eligible candidates may apply online through official website of UKPSC www.ukpsc.gov.in from 17th November 2015 to 5th December 2015 till 11:59 pm.Candidates have to register at ukpsc.gov.in.After registration candidates will get User Id & Registration Number.After filling online application form candidate must take printout of Bank challan and pay required fee.After payment of fee candidate have to re-login and take printout of Online application.
