Office of The Additional Director General of Police (T&AP) cum
Chairman SLPRB Assam has released an employment notification for
recruitment to 373 posts of Sub-Inspector of Police (Un-Armed Branch)
and Assistant Jailors. Applications can be submit online from 1st
December 2015 to 15th December 2015.

Scale of Pay : Pay Band No. 2 Rs. 5200-20200 with GP Rs.3300
Age Limit :
- Sub-Inspector - Minimum 20 years and maximum 24 years as on 1st July, 2015
- Assistant Jailors - 21 years to 38 years as on 1st January 2015
Education Qualification :
- Sub-Inspector - Candidate must possess Graduation in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions.
- Assistant Jailors - Candidate must possess Graduation in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions.Candidate with Diploma in the fields of Criminology and Correctional Works or Diploma in computer Application will be given preference.
Selection Process : Selection process will consist of Written
Test (OMR based), Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency
Test.Candidates should bring a set of attested photocopies along with
the relevant originals documents for verification on the date of PST /
PET.
