East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur, has released an employment
notification for recruitment under Sports Quota for the year 2015-16 to
fill 56 vacancies in various sports disciplines.Eligible Sports-persons
may apply in prescribed format on or before 8th December 2015.
21 vacancies will be filled in Pay Band-1 (Pay Scale Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/2000 & Rs. 2400/2800, 10 vacancies in Grade Pay Rs. 1800 in ECR HQ/Hajipur and 25 vacancies in Pay Band-1 (Pay Scale Rs. 5200-20200) in Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- in Dhanbad, Danapur, Mughalsarai, Sonepur and Samastipur.

Age Limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 1st January 2016.No relaxation in upper or lower age limit will be given.
Educational Qualification:
- In G.P.- Rs. 1800 : Candidate must have passed Matriculation or ITI or higher education
- In G.P- Rs. 1900/2000 : Candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent or higher education
- In G.P- Rs. 2400 : Candidate should have completed Intermediate in Science with Maths & Physics.
- In G.P- Rs. 2800 : Candidate must Graduation or equivalent qualification
Selection Process : Selection process will consist of Trial,Medical Examination and Interview.
Examination Fee : Examination fees charges for Sports Quota posts are Rs.100 which must be pay through Indian Postal Order in favour of “FA & CAO, East Central Railway” & payable at Hajipur.No examination fees required from all Female Candidates, SC / ST, Minority (Muslims,Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Zorastrians {Parsis}) and Economically Backward Class candidates.
