Eastern Railway has released an employment notification for Sports Quota Recruitment 2015-16 to fill 60 vacancies in Headquarters,Divisions (Howrah,Sealdah, Asansol & Malda) & Workshops (Liluah,Kanchrapara & Jamalpur).Application are invited from Sports Persons on or before 16th December 2015.

Scale of Pay

• Category 01 : PB-I Rs.5200 –20200 with GP Rs. 2400/2800/
• Category 02 : PB-I Rs.5200 –20200 with GP Rs. 1900/2000/
• Category 03 : PB-I Rs.5200 –20200 with GP Rs. 1800

Age Limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 1st January 2016.

Education Qualification : 

1.For Category (1) : Candidate must hold Degree from a recognized from a recognized university or its
equivalent.

2.For Category (2) : Passed in 12th class and Passed out Act Apprenticeship/ITI certificate approved by SCVT/NCVT .

3.For Category (3) : 10th class passed or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Selection Process : Selection will be made through trial and interview.

Application Fee : Application fee charges are Rs.100 which should be pay in form of Demand Draft (DD) or Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of “FA&CAO,Eastern Railway, Kolkata”.SC/ST,
Women,Minorities & Economically Backward Class Candidates are exempted from fee charges.
