Scale of Pay:

• Scientist-B : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- 
• Statistical Assistant : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs.2800/- 

Age Limit:

• Scientist-B : Upper age limit is 35 years.Relaxable for SC/ST/ /PWD candidates as per Rules
• Statistical Assistant : Below 30 years.Relaxable by 10 years for PWD candidates

Education Qualification :

1.Scientist B - Candidate must hold Master’s degree in Science or Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences.

2.Statistical Assistant - Candidate must hold Master’s degree in second class with minimum 50% marks in Statistics from a recognized University.

How to Apply : Applicants may submit application online through Central Silk Board website www.csb.gov.in on or before 14th December 2015.After submitting online application,candidate should take print out of the Application filed online and send it along with recent photograph, photocopies of relevant certificates to the Member-Secretary, Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, Hosur Road, B.T.M. Layout, Madiwala, Bangalore-560 068 on or before 18th December 2015 (28th December, 2015 for far areas).
