Government Medical College & Hospital Chandigarh (GMCH) Chandigarh has released a notification for recruitment of Senior Residents, Resident Anaesthetists, Resident Pathologist, CMOs (General Medicine & Surgery), Demonstrators, EMO & MO/LMO in the various departments of GMCH on tenure basis.Last date for submission of online application is 18th November 2015.

• Senior Residents - 37 Posts
• Central Casualty Services - 11 Posts
• Demonstrator - 14 Posts
• Medical Officer - 02 Posts
• Emergency Medical Officer - 04 Posts

Education Qualification : 

(i) Senior Resident, Casualty Medical Officer, Resident Anaesthetist & Resident Pathologists : Candidates must possess Post Graduate Medical Degree (M.D./M.S./M.D.S/D.M./M.Ch/DNB) OR equivalent in the relevant specialty recognized by MCI and registered either with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.

(ii) Senior Resident : Candidates must possess Post Graduate Medical degree (MD Hospital Administration/ MD General Medicine).

(iii) Demonstrators & Medical Officer/ Lady Medical Officer : Candidates must hold MBBS (PG degree/ diploma holders shall be preferred)/ M.Sc (Medical) in concerned specialty for non-medical persons from Medical Institute/Faculty for Demonstrators

Selection Process : Selection process will consist of Written Test and Interview.Written test will be held on 23.11.2015 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Auditorium, College Building, Govt. Medical College &

Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh and Interview will be held on 26.11.2015 & 27.11.2015.

Application Fee : Application fee charges are Rs.250 for SC candidates and Rs.500 for all other categories.Fee must be deposited in any Branch of State Bank of India in the “Power Jyoti” account of GMCH through Fee Payment Challan.No fee charges for Physically Handicapped and the candidates, whose name are sponsored by the Regional Employment Exchange (REE), UT, Chandigarh.

How to Apply : Candidates must apply online through official website www.gmch.gov.in till 18th November 2015 upto 01:00 PM through ‘VACANCIES’ link.After submission of application candidates must take printout of application form and send one copy to the office of Director Principal, (Diary & Dispatch Section, Room No. 228, Level II, Block D), GMCH-32, Chandigarh on or before 20th November 2015 up to 4:00 PM along with photocopies of certificates/ testimonials
