The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), Patiala has issued an employment notification for Recruitment to 225 posts of Lecturers in the Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Government of Punjab in the Subordinate Institutions, and Government Polytechnic College.

6. Lecturer Civil Engineering - 28 Posts
7. Lecturer Information Technology - 22 Posts
8. Lecturer Computer Engineering- 34 Posts
9. Lecturer Electrical Engineering  - 39 Posts

Age Limit : Not below 18 years and above 37 years as on 1st January 2016. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 47 years for Physically Handicapped of Punjab, 42 years for Widows, Divorcees and certain other Categories of women, 42 years for Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes of Punjab

Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100/- with Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-

Education Qualification : Candidates must have First class Bachelor’s Degree/ First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering. Candidates must have studied Punjabi up to Matriculation or its equivalent Standard.

Selection Process :  Selection process will consist of Competitive Exam (Objective Type) and Interview

Application Fee : Online Application charges are Rs.500 for all categories plus Examination fee charges are Rs.625 for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab State only, Rs.1250 for Physically Handicapped, Punjab State only and Rs.2500 for All Others Categories (including Lineal Descendent of Ex-servicemen of 40 marks.Candidate may pay fee through system generated Fee Challan Form at any Branch of State Bank of Patiala only.
