has released a notification for the recruitment to 113 posts of Material
Assistant, Tradesman Mate, Fireman, Cook, Tailor, MTS, Washerman &
Barber.Candidates with requisite qualifications can apply within 21 days
from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment
News Paper (2nd January 2016 to 8th January 2016).

Scale of Pay:
- Material Assistant: Rs.5200- 20200 + GP Rs.2800
- Tradesman Mate: Rs.5200- 20200 + GP Rs.1800
- Fireman : Rs.5200- 20200 + GP Rs.1900
- Cook: Rs.5200- 20200 + GP Rs.1900
- Tailor: Rs.5200- 20200 + GP Rs.1900
- MTS (Messenger): Rs.5200- 20200 + GP Rs.1800
- Washerman : Rs.5200- 20200 + GP Rs.1800
- MTS (Safaiwala) : Rs.5200- 20200 + GP Rs.1800
- Barber : Rs.5200- 20200 + GP Rs.1800
Age Limit : 18 to 27 years for Material Assistant and 18 to 25 years for Tradesman Mate & Other posts as on 21st December 2015.
Education Qualification:
(i) Material Assistant : Candidate must possess Graduate Degree in any discipline or Diploma in Material Management or Diploma in Engineering in any discipline
(ii) Tradesman Mate : Candidate must have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination
(iii) Fireman : Candidate must have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination
(iv) Cook: Candidate must have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination and have knowledge of Indian Cooking and proficiency in trade
(v) Tailor : Candidate must have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with a Certificate in the trade of Tailor from ITI or equivalent Diploma or Certificate
(vi) MTS (Messenger) : Candidate must have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination
(vii) Washerman : Candidate must have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination
(viii) MTS (Safaiwala) : Candidate must have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination
(ix) Barber : Candidate must have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with proficiency in
Barber’s trade job
Selection Process : Selection process will consist of Written Test, Physical endurance test (wherever applicable), Practical test (wherever applicable) and Interview.
Probation : Candidates selected will remain on probation for a period of Two years.
How to Apply : Candidates may submit application on prescribed format along with self attested photo copies of documents/certificates in support of Education qualification, Date of Birth, Caste certificate & Two passport size photographs to Central Ordnance Depot, Agra – 282 009 through ordinary post/Registered post /Speed post within 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.Envelope should be superscribed with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ……………”.
