Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS),
Government of India has released an employment notification for
recruitment to 185 posts of Junior Personal Assistant, Stenographers
& Assistant in various ISRO Centres/Units, across India.Last Date
for submission of online application is 11th February 2016.
Junior Personal Assistant will be selected for Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Sriharikota and Thiruvananthapuram units; Stenographers for Bengaluru and Assistant for Ahmedabad.Selection process will consist of Written Test and Skill Test.Written Test will be conducted on 27.03.2016

Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2400
Age Limit as on 11.02.2016 : 18 to 26 years as on 11th February
2016.Age limit will be relaxable for Ex-Servicemen; Persons with
Disabilities; Widows; Divorced women and women judicially separated from
their husbands
(i) Junior Personal Assistant & Stenographers : Candidate must possess Graduate Degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Management/ Science/ Computer Applications with First Class OR Diploma in Commercial/ Secretarial Practice with First Class with one year experience as Steno Typist/Stenographer.Candidate must also have a minimum speed of 80 w.p.m in English Stenography with Knowledge in the use of Computers.
(ii) Assistant : Candidate must possess Graduate Degree in Arts/Commerce/ Management/ Science/ Computer Applications with First Class with Knowledge in the use of Computers.
Selection Process : Selection will be made through Written Test and Skill Test (Junior Personal Assistant & Stenographers) .Written test will be conducted on 27th March 2016 (Sunday).Written Test will be conducted at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.After written test candidates will be called for Skill Test in English Stenography @ 80 w.p.m for Junior Personal Assistant & Stenographers posts
Application Fee : Application Fee charges are Rs. 100 (Rupees One
Hundred Only) which must be pay through payment challan.Payment challan
form, in triplicate can be download after submission of online
application from ISRO system/link.Candidate may deposit fee at the
nearest branch of State Bank of India between 21.01.2016 and
12.02.2016.Candidate have to send one copy of challan along to
Administrative Officer (ICRB), ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh Bhavan, New
BEL Road, Bengaluru - 560 094 till 20.02.2016.No fee charges for all
Women candidates and Scheduled Castes (SC); Scheduled Tribes (ST);
Exserviceman [EX] and Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
How to Apply : Candidate can registered online application at
ISRO web-site @ www.isro.gov.in from 21st January 2016 to 11th February
2016.Candidate must have a valid E-mail Id for registration.After
registration candidate will get a on-line Registration Number.After
registration on online application, candidate must take print of the
personalized registration confirmation form for future reference
